Speaking of Bill...

Yes, speaking of me, a wonderful idea. Be warned though that this is not for the faint of heart. I will be bitching about my daily struggles with no talent ass clowns, the insufficient number of hours in a day and my neverending search for good food. Still here? Excellent. Read on and join in.

wussy

I'm making my blog comeback by criticizing myself. i figured anybody who cares enough to read this thing, will care enough to be pissed off at me for being MIA for so long. today's theme is bill is a wussy. there. that should make everyone happy. 3 minor events lately have highlighted this fact and i don't know what I can do to fix it.

1. heights. yesterday I found myself maybe 10 feet in the air, finally taking down the christmas wreath above the front door that the previous owners so thoughtfully left up for us. i would have taken it down earlier...had we had a ladder long enough. anyway, while uncoiling the 30 feet of christmas lights binding it to the roof, i realized just how much i like keeping my feet planted on solid ground. i know it wasn't that high, but it still didn't feel right. i think the real test will be going up on the roof to check on things.

2. insects. i suppose i'm not what people would refer to as a "rugged outdoorsman." i don't like insects outdoors or in the house. the emergence of the 17 year brood of cicadas isn't helping either. the crunchy commute to the train station and the empty husk covered trees disturb me.

3. water. the summer conjures images of sun, barbeques and water activities. i'm good with two of the three. as a non-swimmer, i'm sorry, but it's hard for me to get excited about the ocean, swimming pools, and water parks or as i usually refer to them, "not-drowning." here's to hoping the cruise in two weeks is free of any titanic or poseiden-esque events.

I'm not sure what/how it happened, but I lost your RSS feed in Bloglines.

Thankfully, your infrequency of posts make catching up a breeze.

Yes, a subtle jab at the lack of posting.
