Speaking of Bill...

Yes, speaking of me, a wonderful idea. Be warned though that this is not for the faint of heart. I will be bitching about my daily struggles with no talent ass clowns, the insufficient number of hours in a day and my neverending search for good food. Still here? Excellent. Read on and join in.

it's your smell!

aiight, so lily joined me in watching v for vendetta last night. it was entertaining on face value and i have no qualms about recommending it. the parallels to present day political issues are plentiful and they make no effort to hide them in the shadows. the whole down-with-the-totalitarian-government plot has been given a lot of attention (and fake blood) lately with Aeon Flux and UltraViolet. if you're not familiar with totalitarian governments and their methods, read this. i find it funny how all of these movies have been based on graphic novels? perhaps there is something about revolution that only pictures can capture (hot chicks kickin' ass in pleather?). granted none of these movies are oscar worthy but i don't care. i'll always enjoy seeing a hero (or heroine) rise to the occasion - especially given their absence in the real world.

and this will probably make some of you out there sick, but portman even looks good with a shaved head.

V, or agent smith, or lord elron, or whatever you want to call him is superb. the mask is hard and the lips don't move, so any emotion or subtlety is completely carried by the inflections in his voice. you can imagine.
