Speaking of Bill...

Yes, speaking of me, a wonderful idea. Be warned though that this is not for the faint of heart. I will be bitching about my daily struggles with no talent ass clowns, the insufficient number of hours in a day and my neverending search for good food. Still here? Excellent. Read on and join in.

DQs

i don't mean dairy queen and i don't mean dis-qualified. i'm talking Day-Quil. i'm home ill today due to an unfortunate combination of sleep deprivation, moving in the rain all weekend, and an office with the thermostat stuck at 55 degrees. i'm trying to get some work done, but i'm fading fast. i haven't posted in a while, so here are a few headlines to catch you up.

---
with the return of the school year, so has our vistor season. this weekend we will be meeting up with E&B who are arriving tonight for medical boards refresher seminar. then mary, brian and christie, and sarah's grandfolks will be visiting in october, with her mom likely to follow in november for thanksgiving. anyone else coming into town?

charley horses are evil. pure painful evil.
---
we received our last wedding gift this weekend. a piece of abstract art from S's aunt kara. only a year and a month late...better late than never right? i'll be hanging it in the living room this weekend. i also want to hang our flat panel tv in the living room. too bad we don't own one yet...
---
i haven't seen a movie in the theater for a bit. this weekend we caught little miss sunshine. i wasn't impressed. after countless people enthusiastically suggested i go, i caved and went along. my gut reaction to the trailers was one of indifference. the movie was somewhat entertaining and it did have it's moments, but overall it was dark comedy and i'm not recommending it to anybody. not even for a rental.
---
lastly, a while back i posted that i put up pics of lily's bday weekend. here i go...

here's up with the bean (cloudgate)
