Speaking of Bill...

Yes, speaking of me, a wonderful idea. Be warned though that this is not for the faint of heart. I will be bitching about my daily struggles with no talent ass clowns, the insufficient number of hours in a day and my neverending search for good food. Still here? Excellent. Read on and join in.

wii news

first off, congrats to frank on finally getting a wii and some controllers.

the next bit of news is good for the wii, but makes me a little sad. the "father of playstation" stepped down today as CEO. the PS3 is just getting crushed by the competition and now sony's predicting that the PS2 might outsell the PS3. how sad is that? i can't wait for tekken 6 to be released.

in wii sports, the AI tennis pros are obnoxiously good at running down a ball and putting crazy spin on it. in bowling, i cannot top my high score of 278.

next wii purchases...
...wii component cable (gotta take advantage of all 480 lines of progressive resolution)

...MK Armageddon (i've always been a tekken fan, but the motion capture looks really promising, and this'll make BJ super happy)

...Super Paper Mario (the first one was great, let's see how the wii version does)
lastly, let me know how i could make the following mii image match better...eyes farther apart, more squinty, increase slack-jawed appearance etc. if you want to create your own mii images to export to a jpeg, hit up: http://www.miieditor.com/

catch up

ok, i have returned after 2 weeks of back-to-back deadlines (i'm technically still not out of the woods yet) . everything suffers a little when you're working 60+ hours a week and you spend atleast 2 hours (round trip) commuting each day.

today i play catch up with my other cases, i'll be having lunch with the attorney and then dinner at Nine (the place under ghost bar) with the wife.

in no particular order, this is the short list of things to do this weekend...

laundry
play some wii sports
mow and the de-weed the lawn
play some wii zelda for the first time in weeks
somehow take down the Christmas wreath, the previous owners left, hanging way above the front door, just out of reach from me and the half-ladder thingy we own
sleep
finish painting the room
perhaps see blades of glory
more wii
go shopping
