Speaking of Bill...

Yes, speaking of me, a wonderful idea. Be warned though that this is not for the faint of heart. I will be bitching about my daily struggles with no talent ass clowns, the insufficient number of hours in a day and my neverending search for good food. Still here? Excellent. Read on and join in.

HP7

as tired as i am. despite all of the stuff already plugging up my weekend. i will be in line at 12:01am with all of the other crazies, sans the poorly made wizard garb and dumb hats.

i honestly don't know at this point if i'll be getting sleep tonight.

i have a car appointment at 8am (just an odd coincidence with ms. alexakis - i've been a pugi member since 2004...) and we have our block party tomorrow afternoon. so there's no way i'm not gonna be reading this tonight for a bit.

i hope this ends well...

dark times indeed

so work permitting, sarah and i are planning on catching the new harry potter tonight. faisal saw the midnight showing last night and gave his nod of approval. as much as i didn't like the book, i'm looking forward to the movie. the longest book, yet the shortest movie thus far makes me a little nervous, but i'm hopeful. the critics have been mumbling about how dark the movie is and lacks the magic of its predecessors. i say hooray - that's the way the book is, why should the movie be any different? harry is supposed to be filled with teenage angst and should be disturbed given the amount of trauma and death he's seen recently.

it could also be the fact that i associate this book with a dark time personally. it came out after everybody graduated in 2003 and left for home...leaving me free to...deal with my f#$%ing stolen car. stuck in hyde park alone, worried sick and with nothing to do but read the brick of a novel that had just been delivered.

ok, let's put this movie behind us...i can't wait for book 7...
